CUREXO CUVIS-joint Surgical Robot System

The CUVIS-joint robotic surgical system supports surgeons during preoperative planning and knee replacement procedures. Its alignment method, which uses an optical position sensor (OTS), improves workflow efficiency and offers a wide surgical field through its six‑axis vertical multi‑joint design.

Features:

• 3D Surgical Simulation: The CT-based 3D data helps users establish an accurate surgical plan. Users can adjust the insertion position, angle and alignment of the implant for each patient’s condition.

• Automatic Milling: The Robotic Arm automatically and accurately moves based on the calculated values. It minimises human errors, such as slight vibrations caused while cutting. The cutter moves precisely and cuts the surface smoothly, which leads to stable implant insertion. It can also easily cut even narrow surfaces, such as the Peg Hole and the Box.

• Various Resection Modes: The surgery can be performed after selecting the optimal method. Measured resection is a method that allows the users to cut the bone in one step according to the initial surgical plan. Modified resection is a method that allows the users to change the surgical plan at any time by checking the gap during the surgery.

• Open Platform: As the Open Platform system offers various implants, the surgeon can select the optimal implant for the patient.
