The TQ-RoboDrive ILM series is a family of compact frameless servo motors developed for applications where torque density, precision, dynamics and installation space are critical. The stator-rotor architecture allows direct integration into the surrounding mechanics, giving designers a high degree of freedom when optimizing robotic joints and axes.
With high torque density, low thermal losses, smooth running and high dynamic response, ILM motors are particularly suited to demanding medical robotics applications. Typical use cases include surgical instrument axes, surgeon consoles and sensitive medical cobots, where precise and responsive motion must be achieved within limited space and weight.
The ILM portfolio covers multiple diameters and lengths and can be adapted to application-specific requirements. TQ-RoboDrive also supports customers during motor selection and design-in, helping engineers translate load profiles, thermal requirements and mechanical constraints into an optimized drive concept.
