meerecompany supplies the Revo-i surgical robot to the Yeonje Ilsin Medical Center (Director Jae Hyeok Jeong) to expand the base for treatment of women’s diseases.

Yeonje Ilsin Medical Center, located in Yeonje-gu, Busan, is a hospital with experience in treating women’s diseases. The hospital performs high-level gynaecological surgeries such as deep endometriosis surgery and adenomyosis surgery with excellent gynaecological surgery staff and various university hospital-grade surgical equipment. In addition, the National Health Screening Center, the Health Screening Center, General Screening Center, and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Center were opened, and the only paediatric inpatient ward in the region is in operation.

Revo-i surgical robot was developed and commercialized for the first time in Korea by meerecompany. It supports high-resolution 3D stereoscopic images, a wide field of view, and detailed movements through multi-joint instruments, so the surgeon can operate very comfortably and reduce the operation time. In addition, it is designed intuitively, so even first-time medical staff can learn it relatively easily. From the patient’s point of view, the risk of infection and the amount of blood loss is low, and the recovery period is short.

Through the introduction of Revo-i, Yeonje Ilsin Medical Center plans to actively apply robotic surgery to obstetrics and gynecology diseases based on its accumulated experience and provide quality medical services to patients. In addition, meerecompany’s strategy is to once again publicize the safety and effectiveness of Revo-i in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.

Yeonje Ilsin Medical Center Director Jae Hyeok Jeong said, “We expect that Yeonje Ilsin Medical Center’s ample surgical experience in the field of obstetrics and gynecology will create good synergy with the introduction of cutting-edge robotic surgical instruments and help patients. We will continue to strive to provide patient-centered, correct medical care.”

meerecompany CEO Joon Koo Kim said, “I am very pleased to be able to provide professional and systematic robotic surgery to patients in Busan with Yeonje Ilsin Medical Center. Above all, we will actively cooperate with hospitals so that patients can receive better treatment.”

Meanwhile, meerecompany’s Revo-i is taking a new leap forward this year. In the first half of this year, after signing a supply contract with Yeonje Ilsin Medical Center following the tertiary general hospital Severance Hospital and general hospital MYOUNGJU Hospital, it is expanding meaningful results in the domestic market.
