CMR Surgical Announces Chris O’Hara as New Commercial President & General Manager
CMR Surgical (CMR) headquartered in Cambridge, is a global medical devices
company dedicated to transforming surgery with Versius, a next-generation surgical robot. CMR was recently granted FDA marketing authorisation in the US. CMR is delighted to announce the appointment of Chris O’Hara in the new role of Commercial President & General Manager – US. Chris will lead the commercial strategy as a key member of the executive team, reporting to CEO, Massimiliano Colella. Chris is an award winning global commercial leader with over 20 years’ experience in the medical device industry. As Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Virtual Incision, he led the commercial team in the US.
Chris has a proven track record in building commercial teams and is strategic, dynamic, and results-driven, coupled with experience across multiple organisations including Intuitive Surgical, Globus Medical & Cardiovascular Systems Inc. With this significant expertise in the US market, this will further strengthen the CMR Surgical team at what is an exciting time of growth.
