Lupin Dental Announces First Clinical Use of its Supervised Automated Robot

Lupin Dental SAS has announced the successful first clinical use of the Lupin® Robotic System at Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune.

Lupin Dental is conducting a post-market clinical study in India to demonstrate the safety and performance of its robotic system for minimally invasive tooth preparation procedures for aesthetic veneers. The trial is ongoing, with six patients successfully treated.

Today marks a pivotal step forward for us, says the Co-founder Dr Galip Gurel. “The extreme precision and the repeatability of the system is providing the most minimally invasive tooth preparation for veneer treatments, one of the most challenging procedures in the field of aesthetic dentistry and democratizing this complex procedure for dentists at all levels”.

Minimally invasive restorative dentistry techniques offer numerous advantages which contribute to improved long-term stability and durability of dental restorations.
