We are excited to invite you to participate in the “Malaysia-Taiwan Smart Healthcare Forum for the Treatment of Brain Tumor,” organized by the Taiwanese “China Medical University Hospital (CMUH)”. This event will taking place on 13th May 2023 at 2F the Pullman Hotel in Kuching from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., followed by the healthcare forum from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
CMUH has been a pioneer in integrating Chinese and Western medicine since its establishment in 1980, and it is also the first hospital in Taiwan to do so. With eight comprehensive medical specialty centers and JCI accreditation since 2010, CMUH is committed to upholding high standards of medical ethics, expanding and improving its medical services, and creating the best medical institution in Taiwan. This year, we adhere to the “Seven Countries, Ten Centers” strategy-aligned New Southbound Policy to encourage the development of a medical and health industry in the East Malaysia region.
CMUH is inaugurating this forum to share our clinical accomplishments and experiences in cell therapy and neurosurgery. We have recently been awarded the Healthcare Asia Awards 2023, and our hospital has been recognized as the Smart Hospital Initiative of the Year. We currently have a number of approved cell therapies that have won several awards, such as the 2021 Taiwan BIO Awards, the 18th National Innovation Award, and the 17th National Innovation Award in 2020.
During the “Malaysia-Taiwan Smart Healthcare Forum for the Treatment of Brain Tumor,” CMUH and two Malaysian experts, Mr. Albert Wong Hii Sieng, who is the National Head of Service Neurosurgery and Head of Department Sarawak General Hospital Fellowship in Spine Surgery, and Dr. Goh Chin Hwee, will share their knowledge and experiences in neurosurgery. The forum will also feature outstanding industrial companies from Taiwan, including Brain Navi Biotechnology Co. Ltd., HIWIN Technologies Corp, and Ubestream Inc., to share their excellent products.
