Anovo received FDA de novo marketing authorization in February 2021 for use in single site, natural orifice laparoscopic-assisted transvaginal benign surgical procedures, including benign hysterectomy.
Momentis Surgical was founded in 2013 and is based in Tel Aviv, Israel with a wholly owned subsidiary in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Momentis Surgical’s leadership team has more than 70 years of combined experience in the surgical robotics sector, including Dr. Maurice R. Ferré, co-founder of Mako Surgical Corp.
